I am so excited to share another dream Kona Hawaii Wedding today! I am so so happy to have photographed this day for these two lovely people! One of the first few weddings I photographed when Hawaii started to open after COVID travel restrictions finally eased up!
Sarah and Phil were one of my 2020 couples whose big day got rescheduled when COVID upended many couples’ wedding plans that summer. However, 2021 definitely came through for them! Hallelujah! They were able to celebrate with their family and friends at the always lovely venue right on the water in downtown Kailua-Kona, Papa Kona.
We started the day in the Mauna Lani resorts where they both got ready. Phil with his family and Sarah with hers. It was a beautiful sunny day on the Big Island and we had some wonderful photos right outside each of their condos. Isn’t she a stunner in that wedding gown by Ava Laurenne Bride!!
We then all headed south to Papa Kona for their ceremony and reception. See more of their wedding day in the photos below!

Their sweet ceremony (okay their were some hysterical moments too!) Was then followed by a relaxed cocktail hour and reception on the Papa Kona patio. These two are just stunning together and the sweetest people ever! It was such a joy capturing these memories for them and their family and friends. These moments get to be cherished for many generations to come!
