Hawaii Destination Wedding Photographer | Big Island

bride and groom kiss during their wedding in Hawaii

Ten years ago I was finishing up my PhD and photography was “just” my hobby. A creative stress reliever for all those late nights, and long days, and weekends, if you call it that. Five years later we moved to Hawaii and I, very soon after, began a career that led to becoming a Hawaii Destination Wedding Photographer. I treasure this job and my clients daily!

And let me tell you, I enjoy being a Hawaii destination wedding photographer SO MUCH and would not trade it for the world! I understand the main reasons why many couples choose to come to Hawaii for their destination wedding. This place is absolutely one of the most beautiful places in the world and if epic wedding photos are your thing, then Hawaii is should be high on your list of options. Hawaii offers a wide variety of landscapes way more than its stunning white sand beaches!

The reason we moved to Hawaii almost seven years ago carries on into my work. We fell in love with Hawaii for many of the same reasons couples come here to get married and celebrate! As you Hawaii destination wedding photographer, I will make sure that your wedding photos will not only reflect the true authenticity of each other but also remind you of the immense beauty of this place during one of the grandest days of your life!

Puako, Big Island Hawaii Destination Wedding

Check out this Puako wedding at a stunning private estate on the Big Island of Hawaii. Alaina and Eric’s day at Puako Bay was a stunner! Check out the images from their day here!

Alaina got married at this beautifully private venue in a gorgeous room that looked over Puako Bay. She looked so stunning in her Grace Loves Lace wedding dress. It was such a sweet and beautiful moment when her dad and the rest of her family saw her for the first time!! I then met up with Eric to get ready for their FIRST LOOK!

They are just absolutely the sweetest and most loving couple! After their sweet ceremony, we left the crowd for a bit for sunset photos further into the bay. Fun adventurous couples, who will climb over fences to get to where the south end of the bay where we could see more the sun!

Mahalo to the other vendors I got to work with for this day:

Florals and Coordination: Aihahua Florals
