I am behind on sharing love stories, but I am SO excited to share this beautiful wedding from last summer today! But completely honesty, this Papa Kona Wedding make me so excited. I shot most of my weddings last year at this beautiful Big Island wedding venue so it is near and dear to my heart and I love every single wedding couple from 2019 SO FREAKING MUCH!
Chris and Emily’s wedding at Papa Kona was 100% amazing! I was with Emily and her girlfriends at a condo in Kona near Papa Kona while Sarah covered the guys in Waikoloa. It one of Kona’s hottest days last summer but these two could not be stopped! So much fun ensued!
Watching the girls get ready and cheering on Emily was purely amazing to watch. They truly were the best friends to have around on your day! Seriously, everything about this wedding was just amazing. Emily and Chris were surrounded by so much love from their family and close friends. I usually get teary-eyed at weddings but I was BAWLING when Chris had his dance with his mom. There was hardly a dry eye in the room! It’s safe to say this was one of the sweetest and most emotional weddings I have ever had the honor of capturing. And the photos turned out pretty fantastic as well 😉 Check them out below!

We headed to Papa Kona for Emily’s first look with her dad. I admit first looks with dads are soooo sweet and I LOVE them more than the first looks with the couple. Watching her dad so excited was just freaking precious! Btw the night ended with the best dancing 🤗
If you are still on the hunt for a venue for your Hawaii wedding, I highly recommend Papa Kona. It is right downtown, so close to everything including the water!
