As a Big Island Hawaii Photographer, I predominantly serve a destination market. Because of this, I rarely get to photograph my clients until the wedding. So it is really special to me when I get to meet my couple clients! I love the opportunity to have them get used to how I shoot before the wedding day.
I had the best time with Ted and Amanda at Kukio beach for their engagement session. They were on the island wedding planning and completed their trip with an engagement session with me! Kukio is one of my favorite locations for couples photography here due to the privacy and the diversity of landscapes. As a photographer in Hawaii, I love all sorts of textures in the photographs that I create. So the mix of lava rocks and field, white sandy beach, rough lava coastline, and the greens from the trees provide that perfect mix!
We spent the session talking more about their wedding plans and getting really excited to work with Sunshower Weddings!
If you are interested in booking me for an engagement session during your trip to the islands, send me a note using my CONTACT FORM. Reserve your date on my calendar and let’s get started planning your engagement session. We start by determining your location or locations if your chosen package allows us to go to more than one location! Location choice may also depend on how far you want to drive from where you are staying. But don’t you worry, I have your back! There are tons of options especially if you are staying on the Kona side of the Big Island.
