Kona Hawaii Temple Wedding

I am so excited to share this Kona Hawaii temple wedding! Not only was it one of my last handful of weddings before the big 2020 shutdown, but it was also my first LDS wedding ever! Photographers on the Big Island temporarily had to adhere to new government restrictions. As a result, our tourism industry literally went to a screeching halt. But it has been such an honor to serve the last few clients I had back in March.

Anyhow, back to this amazing wedding day in Hawaii! Adam and Stephanie along with their families traveled all the way to Hawaii for this truly special day. I drive by the Kona hawaii temple frequently having lived on the Big Island for a while now. It is a gorgeous setting for a Hawaii destination wedding!

We completed the amazing event with a sunset beach session at Kukio beach, one of my favorites! The beach was session was set for Waikoloa. However, we were faced with a crazy windy day in the South Kohala areas. In the end, we decided to move location to get some shelter from the crazy trade winds that day. But the weather still delivered! Truly gorgeous sunset for these two lovely people 🙂

If you are planning on getting married or simply eloping in Hawaii and the Big Island, contact me ASAP and let’s get your date on my calendar!
