I am still over the moon in love with the photos from this Puakea Ranch wedding in Hawi! When Amanda first emailed me about photographing her wedding, “Yes” wasn’t quite exactly my first thought. I didn’t think I was quite ready to shoot a full wedding as my first wedding job. In fact, I was scared of weddings because I know how super important it is and it’s not something to mess up. Do I really want to be a Big Island wedding photographer? But something tells me I should say yes and spend the rest of the 12 weeks that lead up to her wedding learning everything I could. And I am so glad I did!

In many ways, Ryan and Amanda’s wedding was the first perfect wedding gig I could have asked for. Even the rain was perfect! Because rain means rainbow!!! Horses, rainbow, flowers, and the gorgeous couple saying their “I do’s” in the gorgeous Puakea Ranch in Hawi. Nothing could be more perfect! I am also told that Puakea ranch has the lowest likelihood of rain among all the ranch wedding venues on the Big Island 😉
