As one of many Kona photographers on the island, I am fairly familiar with some of the beaches that photograph really well in the area. Although not every beach photographs the same way, each one of them is equally stunning to me. The beauty and potential all come with how your Kona Photographers see and the scene and the light and take the shot!
Also, I understand that some level of privacy is important to some of my clients. So I make sure to let you know if a quiet beach is important to get you to truly relax for their session. Some of the more popular locations are also popular for the daily beachgoers. After all, Kona is a highly sought-after vacation destination! One may not know this based on the images because in nearly all of the shots, you won’t see anyone else. This is all brought by the magic of shooting to avoid the crowd and photoshop!
In this post, I bring you the cutest soon-to-be parents, Adam and Andrea! They flew into Kona for their babymoon. I absolutely adore photographing maternity sessions for first-time parents! I know that feeling all too well. It is so wonderful to see that on their faces and the great opportunity to be the ones to capture these memories for them! We had their session right at their hotel, Westin Hapuna Resort. Hapuna Beach is one of the best white sandy beaches on the Big Island so it can get really crowded! We somehow lucked on a more quiet than a normal day at this beach and were able to truly exhaust this location’s potential for stunning sunset photos!
