It’s safe to say keeping up with my blog is not my strong point 😛 But every now and then, when editing is on schedule and I somehow find some extra time, I try to do my best to keep up with it. There are so many love stories I have had the honor of capturing and I have only been able to share a fraction of them in blog form. But Rick and Erica’s anniversary is coming up this fall and today I found myself dreaming about ranch weddings again! I shoot at the beach 90% of the time and so anything that takes me mauka way always feels like a new adventure! Enjoy this sweet wedding at Puakea Ranch(see website)!
According to the Travelocity page, “Puakea Ranch is a historic ranch on the northern tip of the big island. We have four historic guest cottages spread out over 33 ac. of gorgeous rugged land with sweeping ocean views.” Yoshi’s house is possibly the most famously photographed cottage on the property. Situated right by the huge tree where most wedding ceremonies in the ranch take place.
Erika contacted me a while back, giddy and so excited about her wedding day! While you scroll through their beautiful photos, don’t miss the unicorn 😉 It has been a joy capturing their beautiful day at the ranch with their friends and family. It was a pure mix of freezing the moments and finding and documenting all the details that they brought for the event!
