I have been photographing this family when they were just a family of three, awaiting the birth of their 4th member. Having just moved to the island, started my photography career, and (back then) a newbie to portrait photography, I found Natalia from my initial marketing efforts and she became my second-ever maternity session on the Big Island. Fast forward to today, now a family of five, this mama also pursuing her photography career dreams! So happy to have captured these images and moments of their family frolicking at the Westin Hapuna.
It has been such a joy photographing this ohana (in Hawaii, means family) as they grew. This afternoon we met at the Westin Hapuna for a fun family session! Can you tell how much the kids absolutely just LOVE the water?

As much as I tried to keep the kids out of the water, these boys were having none of that. The water was just too inviting! We had already planned for an outfit change into beach/swim clothes so we wrapped up the dry part of the shoot and went for it! LOL
