Ever since Danielle and Chris hired me to be their photographer for their Mauna Lani Wedding on the Big Island, I have been so excited for their day! I shot a few weddings here with other wedding photographers. I have done many elopements and a ton of family and engagement photos. But this would be my first big wedding since the amazing renovations were completed. When the hotel became the Mauna Lani Auberge.
If you are still looking for a big island wedding venue with that perfect modern and elegant beach vibe, this is the spot! If you have never been, you should pay this location a visit and I am sure you will be almost sold just by walking into the lobby. Seriously, this venue amazingly brings that elegant tropical atmosphere indoors! It reminds me a lot of that elegant feeling from the Andaz Maui and this wedding I shot there a few years ago.
Their day started a few minutes away at the Ka Milo houses where Danielle and Chris got ready with their family and respective wedding parties. Finally, check out their beautiful first look by the Hale at the beach and pre-wedding photos at and near the Eva Parker Woods Cottage. What followed next was a sweet and beautiful wedding ceremony.
