These two stunning people and a crazy beautiful sunset on their Kona Hawaii engagement on the Big Island are nothing short of perfection. David and Karina were just here visiting a few Hawaiian islands and scouting for their perfect Hawaiian wedding venue. What better way to complete that trip than with some engagement photos? And I right or am I? LOL
We started the session at Beach 69 in Puako and ended it at Hapuna Beach. Both locations are perfect for couples Hawaii engagement sessions who want a lot of variety in their photos! And the stunning sunset was definitely an unexpected bonus for this engagement session in Kona.
Kona Hawaii Engagement
Puako Beach gave us the lava rocks, trees, and shade to great golden and stunning portraits with beautiful backdrops. Karina’s stunning lace black dress looked so good on the black lava rocks and the blue water! We walked all over the length of Puako beach to take full advantage of the beauty it offers. They were so fun to work with and made the session so easy!
After a quick drive and wardrobe change, we spent the rest of the session time at Hapuna beach. Here we got the quintessential Hawaii beach and sunset photos! This beach doesn’t quite offer the diversity in the landscape as many other beaches on the Big Island. However, it makes up for that with the stunning water, fine sand, and the space to roam around and get so much beach in your photos!
